Resumen

The landscape crossed by the wall on the border between the United States and Mexico has reached the highest peak in its political, economic, pandemic, social, multicultural and architectural crisis.

The structural mediocrity of the construction, the fallacy of the media discourse, the continuous intimidation for the segregation of the cultures of two countries, and the filtration of the sovereign security through the underground border violated by tunnels have been paid before this crisis. All of the above in the hands or responsibility of the State.

The chapter addresses the state of the art of a panoptic vision of the natural, cultural and symbolic landscape that continues to be affected and remains the scene of crisis of two inoperative states. A vision that, on the other hand, is aligned with the possibility of building intercultural narratives from the collapse of walls and the rebirth of a post-conflict culture from the memory of heritage. Elements that would contribute to tell another story for the future of the border landscape and its knowledge.
