Resumen

The research enables CMV as a geoheritage becoming an integral part of a cultural landscape, enforcing a better understanding of its site substantial role with communities’ culture in its surroundings. This implies a scale of methodological and theoretical approach supported in intercultural studies, in order to contribute for CMV’s cultural landscape and geoheritage knowledge understood as a result of an interaction with symbolic indigenous culture and its cosmology that possibly endures in CMV immediate region inhabitants’ minds.

This bets on to a explaining how geoheritage has endured across time and its natural-cultural features as an intangible value of a cultural landscape (as a volcanic culture) to take into account in risk management processes to support works with the community.
