Abstract
Mice at the end of the century is a collection of micro-stories that tell the life of mice that are continually at war with their enemies, cats, and, on top of that, threatened by the circumstances of the world they inhabit: natural disasters, media inventions and migrations. The book is a humorous fable of our reality, bringing together different resources such as paradox, irony, intertextuality and parable. In a way it is an epic story.
