Abstract
The loneliness of ants is a collection of stories. Following the metaphor of the title, the book presents a structure similar to that of an ant trail: the first stories are micro-stories of one line, then two, three, and so, line after line, the route is extended on the page until it reaches stories of ten or eleven pages, which, in the figurative order, form a colony. These stories deal in a symbolic, metaphorical and suggestive way with many situations related, mainly, to abandonment in everyday life, and around it, loneliness, migrations, childhood, initiation and other issues related to sexuality.
