Co-directed two grade papers by Daniel Alejandro Arciniegas 3220171145 and Germán Sandoval 3220171029 "Tools for building peace and coexistence in school contexts". Students from the psychology program at the University of Ibagué. For this reflection exercise, the authors reviewed five studies published between 2013 and 2020 in specialized databases, which were analyzed through the following categories generated from the literature review: 1. Promotion of assertiveness in formal education, 2. The results show an important relationship between teachers' assertive behaviors and a positive classroom climate. This indicates the need to continue exploring assertiveness as a fundamental training need for teachers and students, due to its potential as a tool for preventing aggression in the classroom.
